Year 8 and 9
Inspired by NASA’s innovative Synthesis Group, this is where students pull separate ideas together into organised, structured “sectors” of deep understanding.
The Synthesis Group” was a famous, elite task force commissioned by NASA and the US government to map out the future of human space flight with the objective of looking at a chaotic pile of separate space technologies and compiling them into structured, realistic “Architectures”, which they officially called “Sectors of Exploration.”
In Year 8 and 9, they are taking all of the different elements learned during their time in the Curiosity Zone to synthesize them into structured sectors of knowledge to prepare for their learning in Key Stage 4.
